You receive and process urgent calls from the public in a way that ensures appropriate interventions are carried out to ensure the safety of the population of the third largest city in Quebec. You operate a computer system to receive and transmit various messages. You route information, messages, and directives to the relevant Service units or organizations.
- Hold a high school diploma (DES) or a college studies certificate (AEC) as a Dispatcher in emergency call centers (asset);
- Have two (2) years of experience in a communications center (9-1-1, airport, alarm company, etc.), a call center, or in another relevant field;
- Be available to work rotating shifts during the day, evening, and night, on weekends, throughout the year;
- Have no criminal record related to the job;
- Very good command of French and English (written and spoken);
- Proficient with computer tools and data entry.
